My Student Ambassador Journey

Hello, my name is Erin and I am 14 years old and in 8th grade. I have been accepted as a People to People Student Ambassador. People to People was founded by Dwight D Eisenhower in 1956 as a way to teach students about different Country's cultures, traditions while also teaching self confidence and independence. I will be traveling on their Meditteranean Traditions Program. I will be visiting three countries in 18 days. The trip is structured around the Arts and the Classics. It's primary focusses will be on Architecture, Anthropology, Art, Conservation, History, Language learning, Regional foods, World religions. We will be uncovering ancient history and discovering modern-day wonders on a unique journey to Italy, France, and Spain. Also part of the experience is the home stay where we get to stay with a family for a couple days and learn about their customs and traditions. Our home stay on this trip will be in Spain. We will also be doing an environmental service project while in Europe which gives us a chance to give back as global citizens. I am truly looking forward to this trip, however the tuition is very expensive. I want to try and raise/earn part of, if not all of, my tuition myself. I am asking for your help in raising the funds I need. Any donation you can send would be greatly appreciated and get me one step closer to my goal.
