My site is in jeopardy & I need help keeping it running

I started my website back in 2010 when I saw the movie "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".  I saw one version of the after credits scene and the next weekend when I saw the movie with a friend, there was a whole different scene!  I searched online and could not find a website that cataloged this information.  So I decided to start my own!

The site has gone through many updates and it has been getting better and better and bigger and bigger!  I love this site, it is my passion.  I enjoy running it very much!

It has never gotten very much income from advertisement or donations.  If I get .50c a month it is a lot!  Every expense so far has been paid for out of my own pocket.  This includes such things as registering the domain name, the hosting, software to run the site, software to modify material for the site, etc.  Although, those things do add up, I have been able to pay for them myself with minimal life effects.

However, I had a rude awakening last week when I turned my computer on to find that it had died!  And to top it off, that was my backup!  I had been using my 5 year old laptop since my desktop died about 6 months ago.  So now I am computerless and unable to reliably update the site.

The site that I so deperately worked on is in dire straits!  If I can't purchase a new laptop soon, I fear that all the followers and supporters of the site will leave because it will become abandonded.

I have spend a ton of time and money on this site so far.  I have also spend many a late night trying to hash out a new feature.  I have watched the ending of movies until I was cross-eyed!

I don't expect to get thousands of dollars, I don't even expect to get enough money to purchase a new computer.  But it would be really nice if some of the cost could be lifted off of my shoulders.  As with everyone, I've had a string of bad luck lately.  Not to try to tell a sob story here but of the many things that have hindered my ability to purchase a new system so far is my car breaking down every other week, my dog getting bitten by another dog; and to top it off, I'm having surgery very soon which will effect my paycheck from my "real" job.  I will only be getting a small portion of my regular paycheck and need to save as much as I can right now so I can continue to pay bills and keep a roof over my head. 

I am giving out rewards of items from the websites store.  I know they don't have the new web address on them, that will change soon, and most definately BEFORE they are sent out.  Also, I'm seriously considering modiying them even further to customize them to show that you supported the site and helped to keep it alive.  The designs are not finalized yet, but, again, they will be updated before they ship out to you!

I really don't want to see this labor of love to go away.  Please help me if you can.  I will be greately appreciative and forever in your debt!!!
