My name is Veronica Alessandra, I'm a twenty-one year old with big dreams and a positive attitude. I always felt successful if I made my father proud with my actions and achievements. He was my role model. He landed his job at only seventeen, before even finishing college, and only got better. He was rapidly promoted to higher and higher positions until he became the boss. From him I learned that a person should only become better with time, always thrive for more, and never settling. He became my superhero when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and remained strong and positive. He always had a positive outlook and that is something that I admired from him. He passed away in April at 53 years old and I feel in debt with him. Even though I no longer have the money to pay for school now that he is gone, I must try and be positive and know that things will always fall into place. I want to keep making him proud and be the person he always saw in me: a strong, successful woman. That would be my biggest success.
