My Father’s Pub

My father is 55 years old.
He's in the last half -- if that -- of his life. Since he was a very young teenager he's worked hard, to earn money for his mother when his father left, to help his siblings, and finally to raise his own family. He's done more for other people than I've ever seen in my life, and he hasn't complained about it once. He raised my brother and I to be the best we could be, and he loved his wife with passion. Recently my mother had decided to leave him and take my brother with her, and I am living on my own about an hour away. Now it's just him and his newspaper budle delivery truck.

His dream is to open his own pub.

Recently my dad has told me about his dream to open up a pub. A cosy place here in British Columbia with some chill live music, great food, and good drinks. A bank loan could only give him so much, and with the divorce he probably wouldn't be given much anyway. 

My dream is to help his.

I don't make a lot of money. I can't even pay for my own life right now. But what I want more than anything is to be able to give back to my father. I want to be able to present him with money to help him realize his dream. I want him to be able to buy a location, fix it up, hire a staff, and become the man he wants to be with the best life he can make for himself while he still can. I have no money of my own to offer him. That's why I'm here.
