My dream of going green

I am in need of the generosity of the people.

My old car has almost run its course and I am in need of a new one.
My dream has been to own car that does not rely so much on fossil fuel,
but having said that a pure electric is not an option for me living in Iceland.
I have always wanted to travel around my own country but the fact that fuel costs are so high has made me put that dream on hold indefinately. Now in the year 2017 I realise it doesn't have to be so expensive to travel around the country with all the hybrid options available and other non-hybrid cars that do not consume as much fuel as they did a few years back.

A plug-in hybrid or a very low consumption car is one of the criteria I look for
in a new car. Also a 4WD or AWD vehicle is also most useful living in a place like Iceland.

I know this is a very selfish request and I don't expect to recieve any help, but a friend told me it couldn't hurt to see if there were some people willing to help.

I'm leaving the target of this fundraiser open because I will be getting myself a new car before the end of the year but I don't know when that will happen.

The amount I'm able to raise will impact what car I will be able to purchase,
however the minimum amount I need to raise is about 5000 euros and the ideal sum is closer to 10k euros.
