My Dog needs surgery

I

rescued Dexter in Hanoi Vietnam 5 years ago. I brought him with me back

to England where he lives a happy healthy carefree life by the sea.

Over

the last 24 hours our beautiful boy went from happily eating his

dinner, going for a walk, to suddenly being unable to use the stairs!?

The vet suspected a strain, sent him home with pain killers. 5 hours

later he was completely unable to use his hind legs and was dragging

them behind him and showing signs of pain.

He

must have urgent surgery. The total estimated cost is £3500. We don't

expect to raise nearly that much, but need help raising £2000 of that,

which again, we don't expect to raise, but we have to try so as he can

go ahead with the surgery before his spine deteriorates and worsens,

possibly leaving him paralysed and incontinent.

Dexter is too young and has too happy a life for us to give up on him. He's the happiest dog we know, so full of life and love.

Any donations, no matter how small, would be more than gratefully received. We can't believe this is happening so fast.
