Good Morning World i've been been working in the music business for over 50 years starting my school band at 14 playing Beatles songs then at the birth of Pirate Radio l was inspired by a particular DJ by the name of the Emporor Rosko and set up my own road show for about 10 years, also got involved in Hospital Radio organising fund raising events, but eventually got the urge to go back to being in a band and carried on singing in the Pubs and Clubs around Britain and Europe my singing career has spread over the lasted for over 40 years but due to heart problems i've had to slow down only able to do the odd gig at a few local venues and usually share the gig with other younger performers as l find it to much to sing for the usual 3 to 4 hours, But taking this step back has enabled me to talk to many upcoming bands and the main problem for them is to get the publicity to get gigs and the vast expence in making a CD to sell at their gigs, so l thought with your help l could help some of these bands and solo artists to record their music and take it to their CDs to sell at the gigs, and do all this at just the cost of expences. So this is the project l would like to set up i've always wanted to live on a canal Barge and i would like to buy a barge and setup a small recording studio floating on the canals and rivers where their are many pubs that still have live music and many boat people that play just to friends and small festivals, l would also like to set up an internet local radio station and play their music over the airwaves, and maybe get a local printer to put a magazine together listing gigs and music available on CD giving them as much pulicity as possible, also while recording they could stay on the boat which by keeping them together would help them create and write their own music; Ok i guess that's enough from me as you may gather i'm very passionate about music and would promote it and help struggling musicians on their way so if you can see you your way clear to donate to this cause no matter how large or small it would be greatly appreciated, thanks for taking the trouble to read this.
