Music production school

Hello, if you don't know already my name is Jessica. I am 27 and originally from Columbus Ohio.I have spent many years struggling with anxiety, depression and dealing with issues stemmed from an extensive abusive relationship. I spent multiple nights wondering why I was still here when so many others couldn't get out. Getting out of that abusive relationship was one of the hardest things I've ever done and finally coming to believe that I am deserving of love or the kind acts of others is still something I work on.

Music was something that saved me, I could express my emotions freely through it and sometimes it just helped get me out of my own head. I want to go back to school for music production so I can help inspire others to be themselves, to help them know they are worthy of kindness and love and to achieve their dreams.

Once I have receive the degree and have established myself in the industry I plan on speaking with others that have gone through similar issues. Showing them that life can move on, that they can take the things they have gone through turning it into something positive for their lives. I also aspire to create a scholarship for men and women to go into similar music programs through an essay contest or if they are nearby, internships with in my studio. However this will not be limited to just students, a working adult program will be created as well.
