My name is Ernest Royeppen,

I am raising funds for further studies in the USA within the arts sector. After a rigorous audition process my application was found to be favourable and I have been accepted at William Paterson University in New Jersey. I have been one of seven international students that has been excepted. The university has awarded me a $10 000 merit scholarship which covers a third of the money needed. The course is for a post graduate degree in Music.

I have been involved in many jazz and classical and gospel programs not only as a teacher but as a performer which included the Standard bank national big band under Prof. Bruce Cassidy, Barnyard theatre productions, the Gauteng chamber Orchestra under Edwin Mitas, Standard bank sponsored mass Orchestra and choir under Prof. Richard Cock, various other musical activities that assisted raising funds for charitable organisations including the Mandela Children's Fund. I spent much time using my skills and abilities in outreach programs in SA for disadvantaged children teaching music as a subject.

The funds that are raised will be used for the tuition, books, board and lodgings at the university campus. Should you require a tax benefit certificate, please contact me for further details.
