MSS Social Movement Concern Group: Ad Campaign

In light of a recent print ad published in a Hong Kong newspaper in support of the National Security Law, signed by "A group of Marymount Secondary School, Maryknoll Convent School, and Maryknoll College Alumnae", the MSS Social Movement Concern Group would like to provide an alternative platform for alumnae to express themselves.

The establishment of our group was inspired by the desire to support our girls in raising social awareness and express their views in a safe environment. In this case, many of our girls, both current and past students, have expressed in the group that they do not hold the same view as the advertisement, in the spirit of a truly free democratic society, we feel that it is important that these voices are being heard as well.

Our group has taken the initiative to support the logistics needed to run an ad campaign, this is a crowdfunding project, your contributions will be the main driving force of this campaign, and the admins of our group do not have personal interested vested in pursuing this campaign.

Our group realises that friends from "Maryknoll Convent School" and "Maryknoll College" may also be looking for such a platform, and we would like to extend this opportunity to them as well.

Below we have outlined the initial plan for your perusal. We are not able to disclose the campaign in itemized details and breakdowns in order to protect the business interests of the media outlets.

Target Fund Raising Amount: HKD 300,000 for full campaign.
The media outlet we are speaking with currently is Appledaily.

Full campaign:

If we reach our target of HKD 300,000, we would be able to run the full campaign occupying prime real estate in both print and online outlets.

Secondary campaign:

If the final amount is below our target, depending on the amount raised, we will place the ad in lesser locations, or choose to place in only digital outlets.

We commit to dedicate all raised funds to this ad campaign withholding no fees for our personal efforts.
