Mrs K’s Classroom MakeOver

Teaching is hard. Kids need love and support and attention and resources. If one of those things is in place, it helps make the other roles more easily accomplished. Unfortunately we live in a world where teachers must resource themselves. More unfortunately, I live in a country where funding is not available for teachers and resources are expensive. As a proud South African teacher, I am looking to the generosity of strangers to help give my class a top to toe make over. I need to make cosmetic changes, such as paint, flooring solutions, new desks and chairs, curtains, to SERIOUS learning resources, such as a large white board, data projector, laptop, document reader, basic stationery).

I know it is a large target. I know ALL teachers need these things. But this teacher's heart is this: I cannot change the world for everybody, but if I can change the world for just one learner, I have done my job well.
