I am a hard working student who attends flight school in derbyshire, i recently had a highly significant motorcyle crash were a truck had hit me from the side of my motorcyle. When the truck had hit my left side of the motorcyle, my motorcyle went sliding across the street whilst i was still on it into a brick wall. After that i dont remember what happened...  I was in a coma for 8 weeks and also on life support. My life could have ended so quyickly at a young age. It felt as if it was taking forever for me to recover. Once i was able to breath and survive on my own, i was taken out of the coma but still remained in hospital as i was not in the correct condition to go home. The doctor told me that i have damaged a serious important part of my body which was the spial cord due to this i had stopped being able to feel my legs. Weeks later i was allowed to do movement, i had spial cord physiotherapy, i would be pushed in a chair in order to take part in the physiotheraphy. All because of this crash i remain paralysed from the waist down. This has made a dramatic change to my life, my whole dream of being a piolot has changed! How will i ever be able to step foot in a aircrarft cockpit again. I cry nearly every night and day thinking about why this ever happened to me? Why me? what the funding will go towards:

My treatment such as phisotherapy and other medical visits Hope of being able to pay towards plastic legs in order to help me walk again. I just want to be normal eventhough its hard to face the fact that its impossible. A lift in my home as currently i have to crawl up the stairs
