Campaign Story
Cassandra is a 24 year old wife and mother from West Virginia. She is seeking donations towards a $4,000 goal. Currently her family of five has a critical financial need and SNAP, WIC, and Medicare are utilized to supplement their daily life. Cassandra is enrolled full-time at Independence University ( a branch of Stevens-Henager ), and is working towards an Associates' degree in Business Management and Accounting. Upon completion of this program, she plans on re-enrolling for a Bachelors' degree in Business Administration. Currently she holds a 4.0 G.P.A. She plans on applying that knowledge towards a for-profit entrepreneurial business, which is based in sustainable and organic farming and production. A non-profit business is being thought about as well. one that offers resources and stability to West Virginian families.
What you'll provide by donating:
A way for a years' tuition to be partially paid, at least to the extent of reducing the impending student loan debt.
A short-term safety net for the financial stability of the family.
Access to technology and materials that couldn't be utilized otherwise.
Support and encouragement to someone who: Possesses long-term goals of giving back ; Plans on running two entrepreneurial businesses ( a non-profit, and a for-profit- both geared towards sustainable agriculture, preservation of nature, and community involvement) : Chose to pursue higher education to provide family and community with a better quality of life

Long-Term goals:
Receive Bachelors' degree in Business Administration. Consider further education in either agriculture or culinary arts.
Complete a solid business plan. Begin a for-profit business that's geared towards sustainable, organic, free-range, humane and cruelty-free farming and livestock production.
Long-Term goals for giving back to others:
Develop and implement a business model for a non-profit. Focus is towards educating on environment and agriculture. Offer resources such as seeds or soil, classes for teens and adults to learn various farming methods. Community involvement by offering a safe, comfortable, and inviting location that nurtures a love of nature and life. Provide food and financial support when allowable.
The Family:
Cassandra - Mother and wife, full-time student. Would be recipient of funds. Goals are listed above. Some past activities include 4-H, Girl Scouts, various school and community theatre productions, Pre-Teen West Virginia (Went on to nationals in Baton Rouge), Marching and Concert band participant (trumpet and baritone)
Clay - Supportive husband and father 24 years of age, currently unemployed after being laid off from a 5 year heavy equipment operator position. Refuses to utilize any portion of the funds, looking for re-employment.
Marri - 4 years of age, if needed a small portion of the funds may be utilized to assist in the care of her basic needs.
Alice - 2 years of age, if needed a small portion of the funds may be utilized to assist in the care of her basic needs.
Riley - 7 months of age, if needed a small portion of the funds may be utilized to assist in the care of his basic needs.
