My mom dreams of going to Jerusalem. Up until this dream was borne my mother's only desire was waiting for the second coming of Jesus Christ. She raised us as as a single parent, always working double shifts as a nurse to make ends meet. She never had a life. We were her life.

We grew up as all kids do and like most, we struggled as adults integrating into a broken world as we emerged from a broken home, glued impossibly together by my mother, as best she could. We have not managed to achieve success in this life to financially support our still single, still strong, but very weary mother, as she reaches her golden years. These last years she has become very depressed, but holds firmly onto her faith as she continues to work as a nurse to support herself and help us.

Her only hope and joy is her faith that her Savior will welcome her into His arms soon. However a new hope has been borne in her heart and one I believe is divine - she wants to visit the place her Savior was born in and died at for her. She would love to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, all expenses paid, and I believe if one person deserves to make this journey it is my mother.

This is my campaign for her to make that happen.
