Mokopane is a small town located in the heart/center of Limpopo province, South Africa. The town is synonymous with mining activity. But amazingly there seem to be a growth of a creative industry that is unnoticed in the small mining town. Mokopane Creatives Exhibition is an event that aims to celebrate creative talent around the town of Mokopane, through exhibition of works of Mokopane local talents, which includes film screenings, photography exhibitions, art exhibitions, music performances, motivational talk and panel discussions on various creative careers from different experts; including personal branding, entrepreneurship, retail and music.

The event is created out of a passion for public service and not profit purposes. Inspired by the realization that we live in a country/South Africa where most of the youth is unemployed despite having a qualification or not, while some have taken matters in their own hands and have pursued business interests deriving from their God given talents. Some are left behind drowning in self-pity and depression, disabling them to realize opportunities that lie before them. This event aims at exhibiting creative career opportunities that are available for the youth to take advantage of while celebrating those who are already leading the way, through exhibitions and panel discussions.

The purpose of our fundraiser is to raise monies to assist us in hosting a network session during the event, whereby attendees and guests of honor network with each other over finger food and refreshments.
