Campaign Story
Hi I’m Claudia Audencial. I know this pandemic has affected everyone in one way or another. If you know me, you know I don’t really like asking for help which makes it even harder to ask. But our town, Moalboal got hit by Super typhoon "Odette" on December 16, 2021 around 9 o'clock in the evening until around one o'clock in the morning, the following day. Strong winds and rain affected many people’s houses. Hundreds of families. got affected and lost or damaged their homes by the typhoon. Beaches and resorts were washed out, corals are damaged, which will take decades to recover. Eight persons were reported missing, seven were found safe while one boatman was found dead in the neighboring town of Badian. Other were father and 3-year-old- daughter who were not able to get out from their residence when a coconut tree hit their house which resulted to their demise. The power supply including the telecommunication signals and even handheld radios were not serviceable. I am launching this fundraising campaign to help the people of my home town who are affected by the typhone specially those who are from the mountain side ( will buy goods an distribute it to them). By doing this fundraising is the least I can do to help the people who are badly in need. Anything you give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
I would be happy if you could share about my project!
Thank you so much,
Claudia Audencial

I wish the best success to this campaign, so it can provide help to the Moalboal victims of the super typhoon. I have so many great memories of the time I spent in Moalboal, I hope one day I can go to Moalboal again.
