Mission Trip To Trinidad

We are so excited to share with you about a mission trip we are planning to take with our church. We are going to serve in Trinidad. Trinidad is the main island of a two-island country called Trinidad and Tobago. It is seven miles north of Venezuela. During March 30 – April 6, we will be going to Trinidad with a team from our church (Gateway Community Church in Fuquay-Varina, NC). Unlike America, the people of Trinidad aren't hesitant to discuss religion and faith. The dilemma in Trinidad is that faith in Christ is intermingled with Hinduism and voodoo. Many have never heard the true gospel. And those who have heard of Jesus are being taught misrepresentations of the gospel.

Our week-long trip will focus on the YWAM campus in the Las Lomas community. The purpose of our trip is threefold:

• First, we will be helping with repairs on the local mission compound
• Second, we will be working with a local orphanage.
• Third, to learn more about the culture and beliefs of Trinidad in order to be effective in sharing Christ’s love with them

We are excited about this opportunity to serve the Lord. As always, it will also renew our commitment to missions here at home, too.

As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. We need to raise $1300 each by March 15th. If you can support us in a financial way, we would be very grateful. We also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in Trinidad. Without prayer, nothing will happen.

DO NOT make the check out to any of us and DO NOT put our names on the memo line per IRS regulations. Simply put “Trinidad Mission Trip” on the memo line of your check.
