Mission Trip Fund Raiser

I am going on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic for a week in July. While over there we will be preaching the gospel in addition to teaching kids, providing VBS while we're there, and passing out water filters. The water filters are very important and are big deal in the Dominican Republic because clean water is scarce there. A water bottle over there costs about $0.21 American dollars, but that converts to RD$10 in pesos. An average monthly income for people in the Dominican Republic is an average of about $109 American dollars (RD$5150). Image how much water a family of three needs each day. That would be about RD$60 or so each day, amounting to RD$1800 a month. These families are going to be receiving free water filters that work for 10 years and will have a huge weight lifted off of their shoulders. I am asking you to partner with me in this endeavor and help me acquire the funds that are needed to help these people in need. The cost of the trip is $1700 American dollars. Any additional funds will be put towards helping other team members meet the monetary requirements for participating in this amazing opportunity.
