Miss MWI Phenomenal Southern Africa 2019 – Lee-Lynn Watson

I am raising funds for my sister, a young girl from Paarl in the Western Cape, South Africa with Down Syndrome , who against all odds work towards her dreams through dedication and hard work. She was crowned Magnificent Women Icon (MWI) Phenomenal Miss Southern Africa 2019/2020 earlier this year . She chooses not to be defined by her disability but instead chooses to embrace it and work towards empowering and uplifting others. Be a voice to those once silent!

Early in next year, 26 March 2020. She will be competing in the International pageant. MWI Phenomenal International in Las Vegas, America as a representative of South Africa. She wants to show not only South Africans but the rest of the world that anything is possible if you believe in yourself.

Thus, we are raising funds in aid of her trip expenses, pageant preparations as well as those who will accompany her.

The impact of this campaign will not only make Lee-Lynn's dreams come through but more so create awareness in and around what capabilities people with Down Syndrome can achieve.

Break boundaries for kids/people with disabilities and create a platform in which they can to take up space in society and have a voice. This is not only for people with Down Syndrome but for everyone who has a disability to know that they too have purpose and can achieve their goals and aspire for a positive, inclusive tomorrow.
