I will make a documentary of a woman who has lived a very interesting life, a story worth telling.
We will record exhaustive interviews with Miss Annie, spending many hours tracing her life. We will visit the places of her life, talk to the people in her past, go to court house and attain records and bring her story to the present.
One of the reasons I want to get this project completed as soon as posibleis that Miss Annie is dealing with cancer. As I have listened to Miss Annie telling her life's story over the years I have known her I knew I had to tell it to the world.
She was born into a world of racial divide and proverty knowing the sting of "Black Only and White Only" and as a infant left in an abandoned shack to die. Miss Annie endured and over came greaat haardships being the daughter f what I call "one of the meanest fathers that ever lived". After many beating and being shot at by her father is is only a miracle she survived. I am glad that she lived to tell her story to me.
In this documentary I'll introduce you to the son that died! I will tell you many thgings about Miss Annie's life including the challenes of getting her G.E.D. at the age of 69 and the joy of entering collage at age 70.
Let Miss Annie tell you the way to handle "Bulling".
There is a MPR radio project called Story Corp. which tells snip its of people lives. I am going to take Miss. Annnie there to tell the story of the death of her infant son. The stories are kept in the National Archives in Washington DC.
For people in the Huntville, AL area Miss Annie will be walking across the graduation stage on May 8, 2014 at the civic center. You all come out and cheer her on.
I need you backing to tell a life's story for the ages.
