Mindful Children’s Education in Africa

I would like an opportunity to introduce our organization, we are a NPO based in the Western Cape in South Africa.

Our focus is on early childhood development for children aged 2-5 years. Our mission is to educate the disadvantaged children of our community and surrounding communities which includes refugees by providing early childhood development, support facilities and infrastructure. By doing this we hope to prepare the child for the path that life will take them on. We also supply meals for these children to make sure that they get the necessary nutrients that they need to grow and learn.

We also have a running soup kitchen for the community where we feed 378 families, for some it is their only meal for the day.

We have started a new project for women empowerment where we would like to educate single mothers and procure jobs for them so that they will be able to provide a better life for them and their children.

We need your support to continue and grow this project, we need a container to utilize as a kitchen as the space we are using now is not adequate and we have limited amount of time to set up a new kitchen before our food sponsor can no longer supply us with food, this will have a devastating effect on the families that we supply meals to, we are also in need of 405 pairs of shoes which includes school shoes for the children, sport shoes and normal sneakers, we are working with Samaritans feet to try and procure these shoes.
