On the weekend of 5/6 April 2013, Minds Like Ours and a group of friends are playing a 24 hour football match in Glasgow.
This peculiar test of endurance is in aid of a nationwide organisation set up to use their own stories and experiences to help build mental health awareness of the 1 in 4 people living with a disorder.
You can get more info about MiLO here: http://mindslikeours.co.uk/, but in the meantime we're fundraising and would love it if any of you can help out.
Any funds raised will go towards the £5000 that MiLO need to apply for official charity status and raise the bar for the great work they are already doing.
The game is at 10am on the 5th April at Barrhead Youth FC, G78 2SJ. We'd love it if you could come along and support. If you want to get involved at all, contact me on Twitter or Facebook:
If you can't make it, please, please, please give anything you can. Small or large, your donation will go towards helping the massive efforts that Minds Like Ours are making in their commitment to building mental health awareness.
