At Dyson we are always striving to do better, which is why we have started donating our old laptops to charities and other worthy causes instead of scrapping them. One of those recipients is Ramasamy Madhavan, a migrant worker who has a talent for poetry and more recently filmmaking. Following his recent successful short film, $alary Day, Madhavan has plans to continue shining a light on relevant social issues faced by migrant workers. We were happy to support by donating a laptop to help him create and edit his art.
Unfortunately due to licensing and security restrictions, we were not able to supply a device with an operating system installed. The charities we donate to have their own, but as an individual Madhavan faces a resourcing gap. For just $269 we can purchase a Windows 10 operating system for him and help him create films that reach thousands of people, changing the way society thinks about migrant workers.
That could be as easy as 269 of us giving just $1 each! Or what ever amount you can kindly afford. Thank you for your generosity and you can read more about Madhavan in
