Midwest College Learning Lesson Trip

The students going on this trip are some of the very best students from Bright Star Secondary Charter Academy (BSSCA). At Bright Star Schools students achieve academic excellence, accept responsibility for their futures, and embrace school as family. We offer students the opportunity to develop their unique talents and ambitions in a supportive, collaborative environment, so they are prepared for college and career, and to lead purposeful, fulfilling lives. This trip will include college visits in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Although the school pays for almost the entire trip, there is still a required student/parent contribution that must be paid by the students. Unfortunately, some students/parents are unable to pay for this required contribution. All the students that have stated that they cannot afford the required contribution have been actively fundraising for the past two weeks (we are selling donuts, Otter Pops, and are having a Pupusa sell next week). Despite our best efforts, we will still come up short on being able to provide the students with enough money to pay for the required contributions. This is where we need your support! Anything you give will go directly to the students' required contribution - and if we exceed our goal, the rest of the money will be used to purchase prizes and souvenirs for the students while on the trip (to make the trip truly memorable)!
