Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to read me. Today I would like to tell you a little bit about myself and how I got here.

My name is Mia , and I am 2 years old . For work reasons, my parents had to move to London and we don't have a lot of family here.

On October 25, 2020, I started with a high fever. My parents took me to the doctor, who told them that I have "influenza" and I began treatment to cure myself. After a week I still felt bad and showed no improvement, so my parents decided to take me to another doctor (actually there were several) collecting different prescriptions and taking different medications, which none of them made me feel better or better.

On Wednesday, November 5, 2020, my mother took me to a new pediatrician, who as soon as he saw me asked to admit me immediately.

I was admitted to the hospital, and a few hours later they told us that they had to transfer me to another hospital if I wanted to survive one more night, since I needed intensive therapy and in that hospital they do not have it.

The cost to accept me in the new hospital was £8,000, which my parents cannot cover and they choose to collect credit cards to raise some money. They managed to collect £4,000 and I could be transferred.

When I arrived, they did different studies, finding extremely low white blood cells, sepsis, among other complications. They decided to connect me to a ventilator because my body and I are not strong enough to breathe alone. Due to the sepsis I had they had to cut a part of my intestine so that it did not continue to infect my tummy and they induced me to eat.

I am only 2 years old, I have been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia + multiple organ failure.

The pediatric intensivists do everything possible to stabilize me, however the situation becomes more critical every time.

Believe in my strength, have faith that we can move forward and that it will only remain as a great test that I have to overcome. Any amount of money is appreciated and used for my treatments. Thank you so much good soul!
