Memorial for late Mr Allen Bownes

This campaign is to raise funds for the late Mr Allen Bownes, a loving and caring father, brother and friend.

This exceptional man always found a way to entertain the emotional person, always finding ways to cheer them up. Whether it was a song, or a quick joke. He always managed to turn the average person's frown, upside down. He was the father of my wife, and due to the distance between us, we were only able to meet on a few occasions . In one meeting he managed to win me over. He had the biggest heart of all, always keeping in contact with his family.

In the last 18 months his health took a bit of a downward slope. Up to the point of Sunday 29 September 2019 at 06:30 am where he gave his last breath and joined our Maker in the afterlife. I am sure I'm speaking on behalf of his entire family when I say he will be greatly missed.

The reason I have started this campaign is to raise funds for his memorial ceremony. He did not have any funeral cover in place for things like these, and at this point the family would not have the financial capacity to be able to carry the cost. So i am pleading for your urgent support. Whether it be R1 or R100. The only thing that matters is the heart of giving. Lets see if we can raise enough to give him a dignified Goodbye.

The funds will be needed for the cremation process at the selected funeral home discussed by the family.

I will handle the final expenses of the funeral cost. Your support will be dearly appreciated, and I'm sure you will be blessed for it
