Who are we?

We are 4 students in our final year from Lasalle College of the Arts, Diploma in Broadcast Media. We call ourselves 'Melting Pot'. We are passionate and aspiring filmmakers! We enjoy creating films because it's a platform for our voices to be heard through moving pictures. Hence, our short film titled 'Time Capsule' where we talk about friendship.

Introduction

Our short film is titled Time Capsule. This project commences in August 2022 and all the way to, March 2023. The length of our short film would be between 10-15minutes. Lastly, the genre of our film is Adventure/ Horror.

Logline

3 friends went back to their primary school to dig up a time capsule they buried. However, not everything is as it seems and their friendship will be tested as they undergo a quest and discover something darker.

Synopsis

3 friends, James, Veera, and Aisha, decided to go back to their primary school to dig up a time capsule they buried years ago as students. However, things don’t go to plan as they begin their search for the time capsule. Incidents from their past begin to come back and make them question whether their bond is as strong as they thought it once was and whether they even really know each other deep down. Or is there just a larger force pulling all the strings? Morals are questioned, and values are challenged. Will their friendship prevail in the end?
