Meditation Hall to Benefit Seekers

Achalam is an eco-ashram at the foot of the sacred mountain, Arunachala that plays host to pilgrims, and is especially in service to women, as a refuge for those who are dedicated to their spiritual path. Achalam aims to provide a conscious-living satsang environment where women can trust and support each other and find personal space for self- contemplation.

To facilitate this realisation and to service the meditation groups we host, we aim to build a meditation hall to be ready by January 2019. The plan is for an octagonal shaped building made from mud brick with a stone floor, pyramid shaped tile roof, adjoining toilet, and verandah around the outside. We ask your help in raising funds for this project to pay for the building materials and construction, due to commence by early October.
