Campaign Story
She felt sick last year whereby she underwent a lot of scans highlighted an odd looking growth in my stomach. Specialists were able to confirm that this growth had, in fact, been present in the scans they recognized that I have multiple tumors in my stomach. The doctor advised me for surgery to remove those tumors. I thought the problem will get over. Later after this surgery again he told me there is again a tumor attached to my small intestine which needs to be removed and taken for further testing. The next surgery again needs to be done and before I need to go to a lot of utra sounds to determine how is that tumor is, having only completed utra sounds, the estimated costs moving forward have become increasingly overwhelming. These costs include further testing, the specialist fees, the surgery itself and an extended stay in hospital for recovery. For those of you who may not know and for a bit of background, Betty is a Kenyan has been living Kenya her home country and I lost the one parent I had this time of covid. At the time of her tumors surgery, she was unfortunately not covered by medical insurance and will not be covered for the upcoming surgery.
Betty, myself and our families are so appreciative of any support and love that we will receive and we hope to be able to share updates and positive news with you all on this journey.
