Medical Costs Vanessa.

Vanessa is my daughter who 4 years ago developed severe back pain where she struggled to walk and get out of bed.

The 1st doctor she saw told her she needed to do more exercise. The 2nd doctor x-rayed her and a curvature could be seen in her spine. He suggested she do an MRI but she didn't have the funds at that time.

A year and a half ago Vanessa started seeing a physiotherapist and detailed x-rays showed mild multilevel spondylitis, deformity sclerosis and discitis.

Vanessa developed a visible deformity on her spine. She saw a neurologist and had an MRI done. The neurologist found that her disc between L1 and L2 was destroyed and her vertebrae had eroded and fused. A small abscess was also found near her spine. The neurologist diagnosed her with spinal TB and prescribed 7months TB medication. 6 months later another MRI was done and the medication had not worked and she had now developed 2 abscess', the previous one had grown extensively to 20cm. It is now uncertain whether she has TB or not, so she needs a biopsy.

The neurologist was shocked at the size of the abscess' and Vanessa requires urgent drainage of both abscess' and will need to be hospitalized for 7 days.

We have some of the funds but not the total amount.

Any help would be much appreciated as Vanessa needs to be admitted very soon, there is a danger involved as these abscess' have displaced her kidneys and are pushing on spinal nerves.
