The last months I have been accompanying my mother in order to take care of her health, and after a piercing pain started in her right breast, we decided to find a doctor, who recommended a mammography (which she had to do twice), and after the exams (if you want to see the proof, PM me and I'll send you the pictures as soon as I have time) a nodule that has 95% of being malignant was found along with calcifications in her right breast. We also found out mom has tendonitis and arthrosis on her right shoulder, which causes even more pain and most medicines weren't working.
The first days after her exam results were incredibly difficult, as she struggled with anxiety and seemed depressed. We also spent nights without sleeping properly, as we used ice packs on her back (they helped with the pain) and kept changing them so she could rest, and even then it was incredibly difficult for her to get some sleep.
After a family meeting, we decided to leave Amazonas and go to Santa Catarina, a State in the South of Brazil and the second best in terms of health care (the first one is São Paulo). We chose Santa Catarina because an aunt of mine and two cousins live here and let us stay in her apartment. Amazonas is also known for its extreme poor health care system (we're 23rd place in Brazil, and our country has 26 states).
My mother, my aunt and I have recently arrived in Joinville (Santa Catarina, Brazil) in order to have mom go through treatment here. My aunt has been helping me fund her exams and - if she needs surgery - other healthcare expenses. I was helping with groceries and other expenses like clothes and water, but in Amazonas everything is very expensive due to raising taxes and the fact that the Secretariat I work for is owing its employees money and won't pay (this month payment was also delayed, and they won't pay a benefit that they owe us). This month they also delayed payment and I'll only get my money on the 31 of July, so things are a bit complicated and I'm thinking of moving to Joinville and start working here, as it's economy is a lot better than my hometown.

I also need to add that I while I thought of asking for money, I prefer offering value instead of just asking too. I have a store in RedBubble and TeePublic that started recently and if you wish to cooperate and get something, you can buy anything you like or even recommend prints you'd like to see and I'll work on these to add them to the store as soon as I have time in here.
Here are the links to my stores:

To conclude: I apologize for taking your time, but I wouldn't be asking for help if I didn't need it (I feel horrible for asking because I don't want to be a burden to anyone). As soon as possible I'll be posting updates. The $10.000 value was determined by doing a some research on the costs of treatment for patients with cancer.
I also accept your prayers for her and for our family, may God bless you all.

Breast cancer confirmed

Update posted by Luiz Felipe Albuquerque at 06:28 pm

After the biopsy the nodule in her right breast was said to be cancer. We have managed to finish her blood tests and bone scintigraphy quickly, and we'll visit the oncologist on Tuesday to see what needs to be done in order to reverse it.

Amoxicilin

Update posted by Luiz Felipe Albuquerque at 12:58 am

In the afternoon we visited the doctor and he asked for blood and urine tests. We visited him after mom had problem tolerating the right chest pain (which usually bothers her and sometimes it becomes intense) and he recommended a pill of Amoxicilin every 12 hours (she took one 7:35pm)
