Medical Costs and help with a home

This is my story. I was working as a CNA in home care and I had a seizure while with the client. He called 911 and I was rushed to the hospital. They confirmed Epilepsy and and I was confused as to what had happened and why. Later that week I was told by the nurse that I can no longer work due to the fact that the client's safety could be at risk. Due to loss of income, I couldn’t afford my mortgage payments and lost my home and became homeless. We had a little bit of savings, my wife and I, but currently using it to rent various places at hotels/motels. The cost of medication, mote doctors visits and paying for a storage unit is putting a toll on us financially. My wife started working part time but it isn’t enough to be able to rent an apartment so we are looking to purchase a home mortgage free. This will help us get back on track without having mortgage payments. Thanks for your help and support.
