¡Hola a todos! Soy Carla Sotelo y en este momento vengo a pedirte ayuda por la salud de mi padre Carlos Sotelo. Quien es un gran ser humano y un padre ejemplar sé que con su ayuda superaremos esta horrible situación.

El 25 de julio, dio positivo por COVID - 19. Por el momento, su condición era estable y podíamos continuar el tratamiento en casa. El viernes 31 de julio, durante la noche, su temperatura comenzó a aumentar, que se controló con medicamentos, pero su fiebre continuó durante toda la mañana. Por la mañana, el médico le aconsejó que fuera a la sala de emergencias para que le dieran medicamentos más fuertes. En la clínica, lo evaluaron, le tomaron radiografías y análisis de sangre. Los resultados fueron neumonía en el 50% de sus pulmones, lo que significa que tuvo que ser hospitalizado de inmediato y recibir oxígeno.

Todos sabemos cuán caótica es la situación en Perú, donde obtener oxígeno y una cama en un hospital público es casi imposible. Afortunadamente, y después de muchas horas de espera, logramos conseguir una cama en un hospital privado, pero los costos son muy altos y no tenemos suficiente para cubrir los gastos. Todavía no sabemos cuántos días será hospitalizado.

On Friday, July 31, during the night, his temperature began to rise, which was controlled with medicines, but his fever continued throughout the morning. In the morning, the doctor advised him to go to an emergency room so that he could be given stronger medication. At the clinic, they evaluated him, took x-rays and blood tests. The results were pneumonia in 50% of his lungs, which meant he had to be hospitalized immediately and given oxygen.

We all know how chaotic the situation is in Peru, where getting oxygen and a bed in a public hospital is almost impossible. Fortunately, and after many hours of waiting, we managed to get a bed in a private hospital, but the costs are very high and we do not have enough to cover the expenses. We do not know yet how many days he will be hospitalized.
