I'm trying to take some biology classes so I can get my masters and--eventually!--work on AIDS research.  I had a full academic scholarship to college, but things didn't turn out quite as I had planned, and I'm now short of funds, and on disability (although I will hopefully soon be off of it).  I'm fully confident that I can get a scholarship or work-study program for the graduate courses I'll need for my masters; the problem is that my undergraduate degree is in English, (although I took some science courses as well), and I need to take some undergraduate biology courses before I take the graduate ones.  For the undergrad courses, I will need to enroll as a non-matriculated student, and it's really hard to get funding--including student loans or scholarships--if you're non-matriculated.  Someone offered me a loan which I would pay back by tutoring in the evenings some days, which is great, but I'm not so good with more than one student sometimes, and he's asking me to teach four at a time.  I will use that, and other funding sources, to make up for what I don't make in this campaign.  This campaign is just for my first class, to be taken at Queens College in the fall semester.
