UPDATE 22/5/2020:

We are currently pausing the Campaign. Stay Tuned!

UPDATE 21/5/2020:
We will update our list of beneficiaries here once the dollar value reaches $500 for dispatch!

During the COVID-19 outbreak in Singapore, migrant workers have been facing the brunt of the coronavirus infections. In the their isolation, Muslim migrant workers who are fasting over the period of Ramadan, are particularly vulnerable. Familiar food and drink bring much comfort and to a certain extent, spark joy. Singaporeans rose to the occasion to show their care to migrant workers. We, at iLite have also chipped in by doing what we do best. INNOVATE!

iLite creates and manufacture Healthier Choice - Freshly Prepared beverages (www.ilite.sg).

But why Masala Chai?

Masala Chai is an indispensable part of their lives and contains ingredients such as cinnamon, clove, ginger, black pepper and cardamom, which are known for their traditional health benefits. iLite Masala Chai is also fortified with Vitamin D, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system as well as maintenance of normal muscle function.

It took a breakneck 17 days from conceptualisation to commercialisation, by partnering ingredient suppliers and regulatory bodies such as MUIS. On 30th April, we sent our first batch of iLite Masala Chai to the dormitories via private donors and some caterers; so that on Labour Day, we can celebrate with them.

Our product has reached approximately 12,000 workers living in dormitories. However, there are close to 750,000 migrant workers in Singapore and we could really do a lot more with your support!

We started this campaign to allow you to touch lives that have contributed so much to our nation building effort. Every S$10 raised will allowed us to send 14 days worth of Masala Chai drinks to 3 workers ( Strictly cost-recovery model). Join us to send Masala Chai to 100,000 migrant workers as a form of encouragement to them!
