Marnitz Hawkes – Worlds Junior 9ball Championship in Cyprus

Marnitz Hawkes is a 13 year old boy and one of three juniors that has been chosen to represent South African in the upcoming World Junior 9-ball Championship in Cyprus.This is a remarkable achievement.His interest started in 2017 when he joined Tempe Cue Sport Academy in Bloemfontein and fell in love with cue sport.To date Marnitz is proud to show various trophies and medals for his achievements in cue sport.

As pool is an amateur sport in South Africa, the athletes need to raise their own funds and are dependent on sponsors that are able to assist financially.

Each athlete will be responsible to cover their own costs for flights, food and spending.
