Maroesjkas Surgery

Anyone that knows Maroesjka, would know that she is a phenomenal athlete, as well as an amazing sports massage therapist.
She’s recently been experiencing allot of pain due to an old injury whereby she crashed in a cycling race and shattered her arm.

Her medical insurance are unfortunately only willing to cover a total of R60 000.00 for her surgery, which doesn’t even cover the hospital bill, nevermind the surgeon as well as the anesthetist, therefore the reason why I’ve decided to start this campaign for her.

Maroesjka is always making herself available to help others, especially during times like these and I think it’s time tides turn for her a little.

She’s having the surgery to reattach a ligament in her hand/wrist. If she doesn’t get this done, she won’t be able to work or continue riding/racing her bicycle - and we all know that’s her happy place.

Seeing as though Covid has postponed quite a bit of racing, she has decided that this would be the best possible opportunity to get the surgery done. The surgery will take place on Monday, 24th May, and she will be out of action for at least 3 months.
