Make My Grandmother Proud Before She Leaves us

Hi everyone,

I feel so cheeky to be asking such a thing at a costly time of the year but please take the time to listen.

I have an elderly scottish grandmother who has been fighting off cancer for the past year. She once got the all clear but has recently had all treatments stopped as it has spread through her brain. She has been given just two weeks left with us in this world, and for the proud scottish woman that she is, we want to give her one last treat that she can enjoy, feel proud at and most likely cry a little. We want to parade a bagpiper down her street playing scottish anthems to give her the one last burst off joy in an extremely sad and stressful year.

If there is one woman who deserves a celebreation it is her; she is the most loyal and caring person who puts everyone before herself, its about time we returned the favour.

A bagpiper down her street playing for her, knowing it is with the love of all her family whilst keeping hold of her scottish patriotism, I know then that when she will soon leave us, she will go with that last memory being a glorious one.
