Magnolias In Transition

Magnolias in Transition (MIT) aims to break the back of mass incarceration by helping women and girls successfully transition from corrections to community and maintain a life of freedom. Women and girls return home from jail and prison in Louisiana everyday without the proper resources and tools needed to successfully have a smooth transition. This organization exist to help those individuals with personal necessities such as obtaining an identification card and vouchers for clothing & shoes upon release. We also help women and girls obtain access to education and job opportunities. With your help, we can assist returning citizens of our community with what they need to help make the transition from corrections to community a little easier.
