Mado jumped out of a car window and broke his leg

Peter Pan is a 9 month old owner surrender taken in by Our Family Paws Rescue, in need of 2 surgeries to alleviate a painful broken leg bone AND abdominal hernia. We are told that Peter Pan jumped out of a car window, which caused the broken leg. Following x-rays, the vet told Peter's rescue that he needs surgery to pin his leg ASAP, so that it does not heal incorrectly causing ongoing issues. It isn't known how long he has had the inguenial hernia (where his abdominal organs are protruding from their lining), but poor Peter has had his fair share of bad luck. We are sad that Peter Pan has had to ensure this avoidable pain, however, it's imperative that we work together to make sure that this boy can start his recovery as soon as possible.
