**** TO FOSTER MAC EMAIL [email protected]***Meet Mac. He is a sweet boy who has not had a fair shake in his short 11 months of life. Mac was surrendered to us just a couple months old and he was living his life on a chain, starved and we don't want to know what else. He was transferred into rescue but struggled with his health. He could not gain weight and was vomitting. It was discovered that Mac had a corn cob stuck in his intestines and needed major surgery. Corn cob must have been what his owner felt was good nutrition :( Mac bounced back and also moved foster homes, twice. At his third foster home Mac ingested rat poison or so it seems. He was very sick. This was not confirmed but he was treated and did better. His foster family did not want him returned. POOR MAC!! AGAIN!! We heard about this and knew Mac needed our help! Our volunteer Melissa stepped up to foster. Mac was doing well for a while but has had some behavioral issues (can you blame him?) We sent a behaviorist over to help but what Mac really needs is in boarding training. He needs a clean slate and chance to start over. He is just a baby and he needs to feel confident, to rid himself of the fear he feels. He is a very sweet boy and we want to give him every chance in this world to be a healty and HAPPY dog. We have enrolled him at TLCC Dogpatch training and he starts April 7th. He will be boarded there during this time and prior. We do not know if Mac will need more than the 30 days, but we will start here. Please help us help him. We cannot and will not turn our backs on this little boy. WE LOVE HIM!
