Luna’s new life style

Luna is a 4 1/2 year old Australian Shepard, Alaskan Husky cross. Luna is not only a dog. She is a beloved pet that is part of the family. She is loved just like she is one of the kids. Luna is an energetic, playful, kind loving girl.

Everything changed 1 weeks ago when she was in the yard playing her favorite game of fetch. She jumped to retrieve the ball and landed hard on her back leg breaking it.

 That not being the worst, eveything has changed for the worse today. She stopped eating and the cast had a horrible odour. She received vet care this afternon and when they opened the cast they discovered a terrible bone infection has set in.

She is right now at this time 3:30 pm on Aug 12, 2013 In Cache Creek BC Veterinary having her leg removed. We are looking for funding to help cover vet costs for the injured leg to be removed and the meds to help make the recovery more comfortable. The funding will also cover any cost for recovery.
