Lasallian newspaper advertised response

On 18th June 2020, a purported "group of La Salle College old boys across generations" published on Page A7 of Sing Tao Daily a statement in support of the Chinese NPC's enactment of the national security law for Hong Kong.

We are a group of teachers, students and old boys from La Salle College who do not wish to be forced to be represented. We would like to publish a separate statement on Apple Daily (aiming on Saturday 20th) to make it clear our position of not willing to be forced to be represented.

If we get over HK$100,000 we will publish a statement in Section A of Apple Daily. If we raise more we will also get the statement on Apple Daily app. If we manage to reach the fundraising target, our statement will be published on Page A1.

WHEN YOU MAKE A DONATION, YOU AGREE THAT ANY SURPLUS AFTER PAYING FOR THE NEWSPAPER ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE DONATED TO LASALLIAN FAMILY. WE WOULD NOT RETAIN ANY BALANCE.
