Losing a parent at a young age changed my life

My name is Hayley and I am a 19 year old girl. I lost my mother and not just my mom but my best friend this year in February and my life since that point on has totally changed and gone upside-down. I have no income at the moment and I am still trying to push myself and continue my path in college. Since I lost someone so important to me, who would be there for me when I was down, help me through my struggles and support me through everything that came in my path, I am struggling every day. I do believe that when you have a loss in your life, you are very distracted and sometimes it overpowers you and makes you feel extremely down but I think that we cannot become paralyzed by death. I won't let it ruin my life. My mom always told me there are other universes out there and this is not the only place that life exists. I want to go out, do what I am supposed to do in the world and be the person I am meant to be.
