So I'm looking to cut off my long locks and donate my hair to Little Princess Trust. My hair is currently just above my waist and I'm looking to cut it to shoulder length, which means I'll be donating around 14" to the charity.

According to Little Princess Trust, this amount of hair (including up to 4 inches that will be lost during the wig making process) will make a lovely long wig for a little girl going through cancer treatment. I'd like to also look to raise some money for this very worthwhile charity:

Thank you for considering helping us.

The real hair wigs we provide are free to the children we help. If we supply a wig made from hair donated by people like you, our kind supporters, then this wig costs us a lot less. If a suitable donated-hair wig cannot be sourced, then we buy in the most appropriate wig for the boy or girl in question, as close as possible to their original hair. The cost to the charity to purchase one wig is on average between £350-£500. Absolutely any amount of fundraising that you can generate towards this cost will help us to continue to provide wigs to children that need them.

Thank you for your support in advance. Every penny will make a difference. I've not set an end date to this campaign as I want to raise AT LEAST £100 before chopping it off. I think that's a very achievable target!
