In longboarding, we would always have to sacrifice our boards through wear and tear and end up in the future having to replace it frequently. That is especially so for freestyle and freeriders out there in the community.

There are definitely alternative ways like mounting on plastic skidplates/pucks to reduce the wear and tear. But that requires large efforts into cutting and sawing and doesn’t gives the same feel as what the decks are supposedly feel like.

All those issues could be solved by making wooden ones instead of plastic ones. Wooden pucks can be shaped into any style where it fits on the deck perfectly, and can be applied onto the deck either by adhesive or mounting on with hardware. Plastic pucks can’t be shaped as they are usually premade and sold in skate shops and are scarce in the market nowadays.

This funding is to allow us to help create wooden pucks for your deck itself, and allowing you to choose whether you want the versatility of mounting on with hardwares or having it adhesive style. Both will still recreate the “pop” feel that most people would want to hear from their decks, and not worrying about damaging the deck any further. However, we would need the funding to get the tools to make it and for those who donated within the rewards pricing. We will craft it and deliver it to your address or get it fixed for you when we meet up
