Living with cancer, building a new future with your help.

In 2013 I learned I had a non Hodgkin lymphoma. In 2014 January I received a bone marrow transplant and soon after learned my cancer was to be classified as chronic cancer for the rest of my life.

Over the last three years I attempted full time employment in a rigorous industry which resulted in several long periods of illnesses which have financially destroyed my world. I left that employment in December of 2019 due to physical and mental fatigue. I was told by my general manager I was able to be employed by them in the future if I so desired. Then COVID 19 took the world by storm and I am struggling to find a safe healthy path while having a compromised immune system.

My goal with the funds is to pay down debt and invest in my future as I have no plans of giving in to cancer or depression. I hope to build a future where I can assist other people with chronic medical issues. It was always my dream to be in hospitality for myself and until cancer that was my path. I need to find a point to start from, as funds grow details of my goal will develop. Pay it forward is how I was raised, and pay it forward I will.

Lastly, I would not be here today if not for the excellent staff at Boston's Dana Farber Cancer Institute. If you chose not to donate to myself at least consider making a donation to one of the many fine cancer research hospitals near you. Either way my goal is help build awareness for rare cancer research, it needs funding almost as much as I do.
