Hello my name is nick. For over five years I worked as a lighting and stage technician at Walt Disney world. Now I volunteer my time and services at The Rock of Winter Haven church located on beautiful Lake Rochelle. There I act as the lighting designer, programmer, and technician under the direction of our pastor Mike Jarrett and music ministry leader Carrie Robertson.
Last year for our annual youth camp I reached out to my tech friends to buy, rent, or borrow lights for the event. That was when a coworker, Jeff Slack, graciously donated not just lights but also dimmers, controllers, data and power cables, tripods, trusses, and rigging equipment. I could not thank him enough. This year I am starting this fundraiser and reaching out to all of my friends and family to donate and add to what was already given to us last year. Please help give these teens an experience they can take home and share with their friends and open their hearts to Jesus. As well as enhance the overall look of our weekly services.
All of the funds raised will go directly to purchasing new LED PAR lights, dimmer packs, data and power cables, new stronger mounting and rigging equipment, a new computerized controller, and replacement lamps. This equipment will be used in all services and events at the church.
I know our time is short but with your help we can reach our goal of raising $1000 before installation begins.
