Why is it that all the Euro/ Foreign countries get all the cool gadgets and stores and the US gets nothing? Lets open up an Android Store here in the US! With the right amount of founding we can have a store as awesome as this:
That video features Androidland, a pretty cool looking store that is currently open in Melbourne, Australia. So it sucks that we Americans have to fly to the other side of world to see it. Thats were we plan on bringing a similar experience closer to you.
What is The Android Store?
The Android Store will be the first of its kind opening in the United States. We well not only sell Android merchandise, products, and demo them, but we also plan on making the location a place were local developers can have meet ups and get hands on experience with all the latest gadgets featuring Android.
The Android Store will feature an electronics playground were customers can try out products, learn tips and tricks from experienced Android users through Android OS/Device clinics before they purchase them. It will also carry various Android merchandise from shirts to toys, everything Android powered!
Store Areas:
- Main merchandice Floor (Android Playground)
- Glassed Conference Room (Android Developer Meeting Area)
- Customer Clinic Area (Android Experience)
What We Need & What You Get
Here is what your contribution will do:
Your contribution will help us get a big enough space to let our imagination run wild with design. It will also help us stock up on the much needed merchandise for the store. You will also be helping local developers get a place to meet up and discuss the Android OS.
