Campaign Story
Ricardo "Dick" Malay is down but not out. In and out of hospital since last year. Bills piling up. His daughter Cristina in distress. He has been in the hospital since Nov. 10 due to dengue, pneumonia and TB. We have to fight for him because since college and Chronicle days, he has been fighting for our country in ways he knows best. There has never been a time when he thought only of himself. Up to the time he fell ill due to gout, he has stood guard in his Facebook station, shooting down enemies of the people by wit, charm and sarcasm. There won't be any Dick when he's gone. Let's show him and his daughter Cristina some love.

Dick and I are UP-Diliman contemporaries and I consider him one of my dearest and closest friends. I miss his jokes, good humor and photographic memory as well as his resonant and haunting crooner's voice. I hope and pray that he gets well soon. <3 <3 <3
